Guidance Unit Services
Our Guidance Unit conducts free evaluations based on direct observation and family interviews to determine the general and educational development of children with autism.
In the Guidance Unit, free services are provided to families of individuals diagnosed with autism and to individuals/institutions requesting information about autism. These services are provided in two main areas: assessment and information interviews.
Assessment services are provided to determine the general and educational development of individuals diagnosed with autism or at risk for development. In assessment services based on direct observation and family interviews, the results are shared with families. Tohum Autism diagnosis is not made within the scope of the evaluation service provided at Autism Foundation Educational Institutions. Information meetings can be held face to face, by phone or by e-mail. You can contact our guidance unit and ask your questions. The guidance unit also provides guidance for scientific studies to be conducted in our institution and provides support to researchers when necessary.
Educator Training Program
Tohum Autism Foundation Educational Institutions provide theoretical and on-the-job practical training to their own educators on applied behavior analysis and PCDI curriculum. Five-day in-service training at the beginning of the academic year aims to provide educators with knowledge and skills on professionalism and the use of methods based on applied behavior analysis. Practical training provided on the job is carried out by directors, coordinators and formators in the education staff throughout the year. In order to develop the knowledge and skills of the education staff, directors and coordinators conduct the applied behavior analysis course throughout the year. With the educator training program, the education staff have similar performances and ensure that the education programs of the students are carried out in the PCDI model. With the evaluations carried out twice a year, the knowledge and skills of the education staff on both professionalism and the use of methods based on applied behavior analysis are evaluated. As a result of the evaluation, an individualized development plan is created for each educator.
Intern Training Program
Tohum In the Autism Foundation Educational Institutions, internship opportunities are offered to university students under the name of intern training program. The requests of students registered in the fields of special education, psychology, child development, guidance and psychological counseling, and preschool teaching are evaluated. The internship program requires participation for at least one full day per week for 12 weeks. Our interns are given theoretical and on-the-job practical training in the fields of autism, applied behavior analysis, professionalism, and individualized material design. Our intern quota varies in each academic year. You can follow the explanations below for your internship requests.

Student and Family Support Unit Services
Student and Family Support Unit; Tohum To support the official, administrative, procedural and developmental processes of students and families attending Autism Foundation Educational Institutions, to contribute to a quality education and life experience at school and to maintain communication with the families of students who graduate or leave. Tohum Support is provided to families and students in many areas, from initiating the registration process of their children who apply to receive services from the Autism Foundation Educational Institutions school and support education program and are evaluated by the guidance unit, to their placement in the appropriate unit; from the organization and control of the full and complete fulfillment of the responsibilities imposed on the service units by the laws and regulations regarding registration processes and scholarship applications; from bank transactions to contract processes.
Parents' Association
Our School Parents' Association; provides a bridge between our school and our families, and supports activities that improve education and training, as well as in-school and out-of-school activities. All our parents are natural members of the School Parents' Association. At the beginning of each academic year, a board of directors is formed through elections.

Scholarship
Tohum There are certain conditions required for students who will apply to study free of charge or with a full/partial scholarship in the Support Education Program of the Autism Foundation Educational Institutions:
Being a Turkish citizen and having a RAM report from the Guidance Research Center (RAM).
Families who apply for a scholarship must make a free evaluation appointment with the Guidance Unit. Students who meet the prerequisites for the scholarship application are registered on the scholarship application list after the evaluation. When it is time to apply for a scholarship, the list of required documents is sent to the families.

Important Note: A criminal complaint will be filed with the Public Prosecutor's Office against those who make false statements. In addition, the situation will be reported to the relevant institutions and organizations in writing and the necessary official procedures will be carried out.
Conducting Scientific Research
Tohum Research is conducted at the Autism Foundation Educational Institutions on the early diagnosis and education of autistic children. In addition, research projects are conducted on the status and effects of education and therapy services for autistic children, their families and educators. Library and Resource Acquisition
Our teaching staff and families of our students studying at our school can apply to our school assistant to benefit from the resources in our library and membership registration is required for the library. After becoming a member of our library, you can borrow the books you want within the framework of the library rules.
Library rules:
- A maximum of 5 books can be borrowed at a time.
- Borrowed books must be returned within two weeks.
- In case of damage to borrowed books, the member is responsible for covering the cost of the books.

School Visits
Tohum Autism Foundation Educational Institutions organize monthly visitor days for families, educators and experts. Monthly visitor days are given in the table below. During the visit, in addition to the introduction of the institution, guests learn detailed information about the educational programs developed for our students' independence, choice, language development and social interaction. They have the opportunity to closely observe the educational programs of our autistic students consisting of effective applications.
Our general visitor days start at 10:00 in the morning and end at 12:00. Before you come to visit our school, we kindly ask you to call 0212 248 94 30 and have your name written down.
26 March 2025, 30 April 2025 and 28 May 2025 are our General Visitor days.
