Tohum Turkish Autism Early Diagnosis and Education Foundation, was established on April 15, 2003 as a non-profit, public benefit health and education foundation with the aim of early diagnosis of children with 'autism spectrum disorder', pioneering their integration into society through special education and spreading this nationwide.

Early diagnosis of children with autism spectrum disorder in Türkiye; health, education and social support for diagnosed children and their families, to meet the needs of vocational training, employment, independent living and integration at world standards.

For children, youth and their families diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), as well as other children, youth and their families with special needs who receive services in inclusive environments;

• Meeting their needs for information and support so that they can survive in contemporary society conditions,
• Training of teaching staff and ensuring education and research,
• To work towards increasing the capacity in the fields of special education and integration and related professions and bringing in the missing professional staff to Türkiye,
• Supporting and improving health and education services across the country,
• Supporting and developing vocational training, independent living and social life opportunities
• Conducting advocacy work to improve legal regulations and policies,
• Creating an informed public opinion,
• To cooperate effectively with other public and private institutions and organizations in studies aimed at achieving its goals,
• Bringing the screening, detailed assessment and diagnosis processes for ASD to world standards and disseminating them nationwide,
• Building capacity to ensure that children with ASD receive early intensive special education and that all their needs are met, from the least restrictive educational environment to inclusion at all stages of life.
• Establishing a model school by implementing PCDI* programs in the education of children and young people with ASD and ensuring that the programs are disseminated throughout the country.
